In every home, and in most hearts
In someone's memory, or in some book
A flicker of the past a fire starts
And we go searching in some haunted nook

Some of us search, most of us find
Some would rather let the past lie
But with one single look behind
We'll dig up those roots until we die

We will build trees away up high
We will beat those bushes down
We will give meaning to days gone by
Here you will see what I have found

Irene Doyle
Hey! I never said I was a poet did I?
