Here you will find on-line, Registers of "Ste Anne de Restigouche" for the years
1842 to 1867

Ste Anne de Ristigouche, is situated across the river from Campbellton, NB,
and has been one of the first settlements in that area..
It is now the site of a MicMac Indian Reserve but in the years mentionned above, it was the only church which existed and these registers hold many many names of people from the Dalhousie and Campbellton area..
In these registers, you will find 15 years of pain and agony, work and strugling for many of your ancestors. If you are of Acadian, Irish, Scotish or British nationality, and your ancestors came to this area you can be sure to find them here..
They lived a very poor, desolate, pityful life. It is noted that one spring they were found in Ste Anne of Ristigouche, having nothing left but animal pelts to eat.

How good we have it.
